L'Oreal Lucent Magique Foundation

Hello everyone. So yesterday I went for a drugstore shopping to pick up a few things for my hostel need. I bought some shower thingy and this foundation. I did this shopping really quick because I was running out of time. I just pick whatever I saw and put it in my basket.

Anddddd suddenly my eyes caught this beautiful shiny and goldie bottle on the rack. I applied it on the back of my hand and blend it to get a good result. And I was ''Ok wow, this is hella good!"
I compared it with Gold Bronze but Gold Bronze was too dark for my skin. So, I chose this Gold Shell G4 shade instead.

This product claimed to be a light creating foundation that illuminates every inch of my skin for a lively complexion. It is said that it will make my face glows instantly and it helps to create radiance after applying it on skin. It is a light refined texture and oil free. Besides that, this product claimed to provide a 24 hour hydration which is good for dry skin. Based on their website, this product contains 40% pure water blend that gives your complexion a flawless, freshly hydrated finish. Your skin will look so naturally beautiful and glowing.

First impression? Great! This foundation blends really really well on my skin. It is lightweight, it doesn't feel heavy on skin and easy to blend even with my fingers. It doesn't have any weird scent compared to Sephora.

Before : I have many small acne scar which I hope they will gone forever one day.

After : (With two times appliance) They really 'hide' away almost all of the small scar. But unfortunately, I still can see the shape of the biggest scar. And the small bumps kind of can't really be hide away. BUT, it reduced the color of the biggest scar so it look much smaller. I am quite happy with the result. Hehe 

I love how I feel like wearing nothing on my skin. It gives me a smooth finish which I really loveeeeee and I don't look cakey like putting too much make up. This is good because my previous BB Cream gives me a 'heavy' look. I mean it doesn't look natural. 

After fully blended on skin. Do you notice that it gives you dewy and silky look? 

This product absorbs on skin easily. Filled in the pores evenly. It's not sticky and it didn't take time to blend in. I look completely natural. And it would be great if the coverage is better. The coverage is great enough but it didn't completely covers the scar that I had.

I always had a difficulty to find the right shade for my skin. Because most of the foundation I found look too light for me or too dark for me. Selalunya saya spend lebih kurang sejam dekat Sephora just to find the right shade je. Nampak tak kesusahan tu? Hahah. I have this brownish yellow tone and the most accurate tone I can buy is from MAC which of course costs me ratusan ringgit. Tsk tsk tsk sedih okay. 

But having this foundation is like getting a magic wand for me to make my skin look natural, smooth and satin finish!

Like : It covers almost most of my ugly tiny scars. Thumbs up! Shade sesuai sangat dengan warna kulit saya after blended.

Dislike : After a couple of hour, I noticed some dry flaky patches appeared on my skin. (Kulit saya kering masa saya test pakai even dah letak moisturizer)

Makeup Revolution Haul

I believe some of you have already heard about this cosmetic brand and some of you don't. I knew about this brand from Instagram. I have been following their account before their followers rose to like 5600+ as of now. This brand is new. Really new. They launched their line in March 2014 and they are based in London. If I am not mistaken, they launched their line in Malaysia on December last year. As I know, they don't have any physical store or popup vendor at any drugstore at this moment. Maybe they should consider opening one soon? Kalau ada physical store lagi senang kan nak beli?

I've checked out their website a couple of time. Trying to find if I can buy something from their website. And the first thing that I had my eyes on is the I Heart Makeup Blushing Heart. The reason? Their pink packaging! Yes their pink packaging. Too adorable to handle. Cantik and cute sangat! Geram ok? So, after strolling around their website, I decided to buy few items. I put them to my basket, check out and make payment. I pay all of my items by Paypal since I don't own any credit card. Sedih tsk tsk

My items only took two days to arrive at my doorstep. I ordered it on 4th February and I got them on 6th Feb. Sangat cepat untuk syarikat besar macam ni! Thumbs up for your service. And they wrapped my items carefully with the pop plastic untuk maintain condition supaya tak pecah when it arrived to the customer. I love that. This shows that they appreciate their customer.

These are the things that I bought. I bought I Heart Makeup Hearts Blusher Candy Queen of Hearts, Makeup Revolution Amazing Lipstick Divine and Luscious and Makeup Revolution Pressed Powder Natural. And to my surprise, it all costs below RM 80! What a bargain? Tell me where can you buy this super low price for four items of makeup? This brand is truly a life saver! I don't have to spend hundreds for makeups. To be honest, this brand is the cheapest makeup brand I ever found. Their price range starts from RM 8 to RM 97. RM 8 for a single lipstick. You read it right. RM 8 for a stick of lippie. Now everyone can look pretty without spending much. Super! I am glad (really glad) I found their Instagram. I am really excited to try these on! I just don't have the right time to do so right now :(

Jibby & Co.

Black, big, glass and metal. Four words to describe Jibby & Co. Jibby & Co. has gained its popularity since last year and this place instantly become a hit and hot spot especially to instagrammers, including me. I first heard about Jibby & Co. from this famous local food blogger (you know who, right?) and since then, I’ve been wanting to go to Jibby & Co.

Jibby & Co. is located at a really strategic place in the town of Subang Jaya and this single building of restaurant is just in front of Empire Shopping Gallery at the parking valet and facing to Tours Le Jours. This restaurant got its name from his owner, Najib.

So, for my magazine assignments' sake and to fulfill my obsession towards this building, my sister and I finally made our way to go there. I bring along my DSLR to take pictures of this place and the foods. I parked my car at the parking lot just opposite the restaurant and the parking fee is expensive :(

I snapped a few photos of the exterior to be put on my magazine. The entrance door is at the left side of the building. They provide outdoor dining table too, for the smokers. I’ve been asked to wait for a few minutes because it was full. But, it doesn’t take long. The waiter ushers me to an empty seat upstairs.

The moment I stepped inside, I was amazed by their furniture, interior design, the tables, the sits, the flooring details and even the stairs! This is the kind of place that I love to dine in and hang out with my friends. Yes, the interior is super. This place is huge and...tall? The service was okay. Not too fast and not too slow. But my seats wasn't quiet comfortable and pleasing. The area is narrow and small. The table arrangement is too close to each others. I can hear everything that woman beside me was saying to her friend. Quite disturbing to me.

But thank God, the foods really suit my taste buds. I chose to have Crispy Chicken Boneless Maryland and Margherita. Time preparation was quite long, maybe beacuse of the pack crowd? The ambiance was supposed to be relaxing beacuse we are sitting upstairs but the woman next to me kind of destroyed it haha

Margherita Pizza  RM 23, this is suitable for those who are on diet. I love how the thin crust is moist, easy to chew, but it was a slight oily and Crispy Chicken Boneless Maryland RM 28, I love the presentation of this meal, they provides chopstick too. 

Do you see that pizza? Yes, it is delightful! God, I love it! The size is almost the same like the regular size of pizza. It has 8 slices. It contained fresh buffalo cheese, basil and extra virgin olive oil.

The chicken is coated with honey thai sauce and an egg yolk fried rice. The chicken was soft and it delivered sweet taste.The rice was a little dry but the chicken was fresh and delicious.

Glass with wood touch. Metal finishing. Rustic theme. I love their zig zag pattern floor. Talking about details.
