Cake Jalan Tiung, Naza TTDI Seksyen 13

Hi everyone. I was sooooo into cafe thingy lately and within one week I discovered for 3 new cafes around Shah Alam. And I went socialize with my cliques instead of rotting in my room. Is that a good thing?
So today I am going to write about Cake Jalan Tiung which is so popular right now. Like everyone is talking about it and you know of course I gotta sip a cup of coffee over there ahha. I first heard about this place from where else? Of course lah Instagram. I was so bored and I went scrolling over here and there and bam. I found this place. And in a one fine day, my friend, Farish ajak me and Irfan to go here. I said eh okay, nice choice sebab dah lama nak pergi cuma takde sesiapa nak teman :( Then after lunch, terus gerak like cannot wait anymore. Kalau tak silap, cafe ni ada dua cawangan. Tapi dekat Shah Alam juga cuma first floor. Tapi this Naza TTDI cawangan is at Naza building, Seksyen 13.
I was really excited because I love love love their pictures in Instagram. Everything look so tempting!
We ordered Berry Pavlova, Salted Caramel & Choc cake and Big Boss!
They also serve Sandwiches and croissant in a really reasonable price. The croissant is just RM5.
Their cakes' name are really something. Such as Mary Poppins, After Yoga, Peach Perfect, Mojo Jojo and a lot more. I am sure they watch tv quite a lot haha!

This is my order, Berry Sue Pavlova. To me this pavlova is perfect. Top with peaches and strawberries, and drizzled with other elements making this dish sooo perfect. I just couldn't stop eating it. And kalau boleh taknak share dengan Irfan and Farish hahahaha sebab this is sooooo good!
The size is average. Not too big but not too small. And I spend RM22 just for the cake and the bottled drink. So, if you are a student, I advice you to just drink plain water. HAHAHA

This is Big Boss, ordered by Farish. He said, it tastes quite typical cake. Nothing different. What makes it special is only because they have these nuts on top. Thats it. Farish didn't even finished the cake.

That Salted Caramel & Choc cake is Irfan's. Irfan said, it is good, and to me the cake is done quite well. Plus the decoration makes it more interesting. Farish also agree that it tastes good. And much better than Big Boss.

  Cake rating :
Salted Caramel & Choc cake 8/10
Berry Sue Pavlova 9/10 & Definitely reorder next time!
Big Boss 6/10 - Sorry it is just too typical for us :( But for the decoration we give 10/10 :)

My Instagram shot hehehe #cakeoftheday

Ok now lets talk about the interior! It is located at the ground floor of the building, near the entrance. And dikelilingi with glass wall. So you can immediately spot the cafe from any way. The counter pretty small, where dekat situ cashier, buat air, display cakes in one place. Meanwhile, the background is shiny black wall which reflects the cahaya around the room. Wise idea. This place don't really need any extra lighting because it gets all the pencahayaan from directly from outside. The decoration is pretty simple, the wow factor is only the corak from the counter and the colour of the chairs.
Interior shot. Nice and minimal. Nothing too fancy or overdo. By the way, dorang tak serve makanan berat macam spaghetti ke chicken chop ke so if korang lapar gila or nak buka puasa, I think better korang makan dekat tempat lain, because korang boleh ke kenyang makan kek je?
Tempat ni sesuai if korang nak santai santai sambil borak kosong, sign tender berjuta dekat sini, cuci mata tengok abang abang. Ehhhh gitchu

Ni namanya so called candid shot. Cantik tak kasut Jelly Bunny kita? Hekhek. Ouh ya lepas makan makan, shooting OOTD, kitorang terus gerak Menara U gi swimming. Yes unplanned!

Double A Cafe, Ara Damansara

I want to keep this post short as I just want to shower you guys with the pictures only. This cafe is seriously too beautiful, I literally gasped for air when I stepped in because I love everything in it. This cafe not as crowded as Wood & Steel or Tryst. White wall with textures, light wooden tile and plus the horizontal mirror make everything in a good puzzle. I fancy the minimalist type interior because this make it look expensive and calm. I love the same type of chairs they use. Because I never a fan of combining various type of chair in one table. It's just not really into me.

There are two place of dining, inside and outside. The outside section is my favourite! *Drool* Ok first of all, look at the tile guys look at the tile. Another signature feature in this cafe, yes that tile. I have seen numerous times in Instagram people putting down their coffee cup on the floor and shoot from above. Yes I am talking about flat lay. And if you look at the cashier counter, they have the look a like corak.

Meanwhile talking about the food, I didn't really gone through all the menu, because I was there just for a quick drinks with my sister. But I notice there is pasta in the menu around RM18++ if I am not mistaken. For the cakes, I think it is quite pricey, some of them is RM15 and some of them is RM16. Meh thats sad :( and for drinks, the price is similar to other coffee shop, starting from RM8.

Burger Factory, Oasis Damansara

I was not a fan of any burger joint before this. And this whole life the only burger I ate were from McDonalds and some Ramly's. I never enjoyed eating burgers because it is gonna get messy. The sauces and pickles will be meleleh here and there which I really dislike. And I will need a lot of tissues and napkin.

Then I found a blog that post about some mushrooming burger spot around KL and Klang Valley. And I read about Burger Factory.Where? Oasis Damansara hoookay pal, that is just 5 minutes away from my house! Then, of course I tell my sister about it. Then, of course we gotta check it out hehe

This is the front side of the restaurant. I never been here during the day, I usually go here for dinner.

To be honest I am actually forgot what did I ate (Sorry) But i think this one is Crunchy. They have sunny side up, together with black pepper sauce and deep fried chicken. The buns are soft, thank God. But somehow this is not my favorite even it tastes kinda okay. Maybe because of the black pepper sauce. It tastes like the ready made sauce, in that glass bottle and then they just pour it on the burger. But the deep fried chicken tastes excellent!

This is Cajun Chicken Spaghetti by my brother. The chicken tastes good, but the spaghetti feels like something is missing.

These are some of the menu. The price is a little pricey for me.

The interior is so simple. No overdo decoration. No hipster thingy. Chill vibe and clear atmosphere. It is comfortable and relax. I think all of the furniture inside the restaurant are self made. And that glass bottle chandelier is maybe a DIY project by them. Love it!

Overall, I enjoyed having my dinner here. This place is not crowded by people. The food is also good, and the waiters are nice too.

Like I told you before, you feel relax and you can sit here for how many time you want without having to rush because somebody else is waiting for your seat.

Pardon my pictures. I take all these photo by my iPhone 5S.

Pancake House International @ IOI City Mall

My love for pancake has gone crazy right before I started my degree. I've been craving for pancake and waffle for a couple of month. But, I couldn't fulfill it because I don't have any teman to go with. My adik dah start sekolah. My abang, not really in a good condition right now. So I have to go with someone else tsk tsk :(

So we went to IOI City Mall which located at Putrajaya. The one yang really big and new building sebelah highway tu. Like usual la, bila dah jalan jalan and then lapar and then tak tahu nak makan apa. Nak makan tapi macam kenyang, kalau tak eat nanti lapar pulak. (who have this kind of problem bila dalam mall? Raise your hand! Hahaha) So, I decided to avoid something heavy because I wasn't in mood to swallow any rice or noodles or spaghetti or chicken.

After pening pening nak decide which place to eat, turun je escalator ternampak this restaurant dekat hujung sekali. And the word 'pancake' itself excites me. Yes finally! Pancake yeayyyyyy! *Jump jump*
This restaurant located at the middle section of the mall. If I am not mistaken, it is just under the cinema. (Lupa la) Hahaha.

Pancake Cookies N' Cream RM 15.90

This 3 layer pancake is actually a chocolate flavor. The size is kind of similar to your size of palm. Maybe smaller a bit or bigger a bit. The topping is vanilla ice cream and some crushed chocolate biscuit with some chocolate sauce. This is yumzy. The one that you should really order if you dine here. The texture is fluffy, soft and it is not dry. I have no problem cutting it and chew it. The pancake is served hot and when you eat it with an ice cream, it gives you kick in your mouth and wanting more to chew. The pancake is well done and it is thick. Love it!
But I was quite sad because I expect the chocolate sauce would be drizzled a lot all over it. And if you request to add more chocolate sauce, they will charge you for RM 2.
I honestly think this dish is quite pricy because of the size and the side ingredients. They only provides a scoop of ice cream, some sauce and a biscuit.

Chocolate Marble Waffle RM11.90

This waffle is enjoyable to me. The presentation is excellent! I am impressed by the decoration and by far this is the most elegent piece of waffle. It sparks my interest. It is a golden waffle enriched with chocolate syrup and peanut butter. The size is big but it is thin. I thought it would be thick like the pancake but it is okay. What I love about this pancake is, it is sort of crunchy to me. But it is still chewable and soft. Bila potong, the waffle tak 'pecah' and bersepah even nipis. I eat this after the pancake and it was turning cold, and waffle ni tak jadi liat or keras. Done well! It is light but it gives you a lot of flavor. They provides honey in the small pot. A few chunks of walnut on top. A spoon of peanut butter. With a mysterious cream. Haha ok I wasn't sure what cream is that, it kind of greasy, kinda taste like butter. I don't know guys :(

Halo Halo RM 9.90

This is the desserts that we ordered. The price is worth it. Contains of shaved ice with milk, sweet corn kernels, yellow sweet potato, sweetened banana, fresh jackfruit strips and topped with homemade custard. Yada yada yada, this desserts is the bomb dot com. At first, I was being ''eeeee sedap ke ni? Ada buah bagai, takde coklat langsung jeez lame gila.'' Lepastu I cuba rasa, and thennnnnn guys please, three words. Fruity, fresh, flavorful. Sedap gilaaaaa. Kalau korang datang sini please order. Highly recommend for those fruit sucker, ice sucker and lemak taste sucker.

This is the entrance, you will see this first when you stepped inside. Cheerful vibes.

The interior.
A homey and cozy feeling.

They have seats near the window.

Jibby & Co.

Black, big, glass and metal. Four words to describe Jibby & Co. Jibby & Co. has gained its popularity since last year and this place instantly become a hit and hot spot especially to instagrammers, including me. I first heard about Jibby & Co. from this famous local food blogger (you know who, right?) and since then, I’ve been wanting to go to Jibby & Co.

Jibby & Co. is located at a really strategic place in the town of Subang Jaya and this single building of restaurant is just in front of Empire Shopping Gallery at the parking valet and facing to Tours Le Jours. This restaurant got its name from his owner, Najib.

So, for my magazine assignments' sake and to fulfill my obsession towards this building, my sister and I finally made our way to go there. I bring along my DSLR to take pictures of this place and the foods. I parked my car at the parking lot just opposite the restaurant and the parking fee is expensive :(

I snapped a few photos of the exterior to be put on my magazine. The entrance door is at the left side of the building. They provide outdoor dining table too, for the smokers. I’ve been asked to wait for a few minutes because it was full. But, it doesn’t take long. The waiter ushers me to an empty seat upstairs.

The moment I stepped inside, I was amazed by their furniture, interior design, the tables, the sits, the flooring details and even the stairs! This is the kind of place that I love to dine in and hang out with my friends. Yes, the interior is super. This place is huge and...tall? The service was okay. Not too fast and not too slow. But my seats wasn't quiet comfortable and pleasing. The area is narrow and small. The table arrangement is too close to each others. I can hear everything that woman beside me was saying to her friend. Quite disturbing to me.

But thank God, the foods really suit my taste buds. I chose to have Crispy Chicken Boneless Maryland and Margherita. Time preparation was quite long, maybe beacuse of the pack crowd? The ambiance was supposed to be relaxing beacuse we are sitting upstairs but the woman next to me kind of destroyed it haha

Margherita Pizza  RM 23, this is suitable for those who are on diet. I love how the thin crust is moist, easy to chew, but it was a slight oily and Crispy Chicken Boneless Maryland RM 28, I love the presentation of this meal, they provides chopstick too.

jibby & co.

Do you see that pizza? Yes, it is delightful! God, I love it! The size is almost the same like the regular size of pizza. It has 8 slices. It contained fresh buffalo cheese, basil and extra virgin olive oil.

The chicken is coated with honey thai sauce and an egg yolk fried rice. The chicken was soft and it delivered sweet taste. The rice was a little dry but the chicken was fresh and delicious.

interior design

Glass with wood touch. Metal finishing. Rustic theme. I love their zig zag pattern floor. Talking about details.

                                                              You see the interior, super!
