Cake Jalan Tiung, Naza TTDI Seksyen 13

Hi everyone. I was sooooo into cafe thingy lately and within one week I discovered for 3 new cafes around Shah Alam. And I went socialize with my cliques instead of rotting in my room. Is that a good thing?
So today I am going to write about Cake Jalan Tiung which is so popular right now. Like everyone is talking about it and you know of course I gotta sip a cup of coffee over there ahha. I first heard about this place from where else? Of course lah Instagram. I was so bored and I went scrolling over here and there and bam. I found this place. And in a one fine day, my friend, Farish ajak me and Irfan to go here. I said eh okay, nice choice sebab dah lama nak pergi cuma takde sesiapa nak teman :( Then after lunch, terus gerak like cannot wait anymore. Kalau tak silap, cafe ni ada dua cawangan. Tapi dekat Shah Alam juga cuma first floor. Tapi this Naza TTDI cawangan is at Naza building, Seksyen 13.
I was really excited because I love love love their pictures in Instagram. Everything look so tempting!
We ordered Berry Pavlova, Salted Caramel & Choc cake and Big Boss!
They also serve Sandwiches and croissant in a really reasonable price. The croissant is just RM5.
Their cakes' name are really something. Such as Mary Poppins, After Yoga, Peach Perfect, Mojo Jojo and a lot more. I am sure they watch tv quite a lot haha!

This is my order, Berry Sue Pavlova. To me this pavlova is perfect. Top with peaches and strawberries, and drizzled with other elements making this dish sooo perfect. I just couldn't stop eating it. And kalau boleh taknak share dengan Irfan and Farish hahahaha sebab this is sooooo good!
The size is average. Not too big but not too small. And I spend RM22 just for the cake and the bottled drink. So, if you are a student, I advice you to just drink plain water. HAHAHA

This is Big Boss, ordered by Farish. He said, it tastes quite typical cake. Nothing different. What makes it special is only because they have these nuts on top. Thats it. Farish didn't even finished the cake.

That Salted Caramel & Choc cake is Irfan's. Irfan said, it is good, and to me the cake is done quite well. Plus the decoration makes it more interesting. Farish also agree that it tastes good. And much better than Big Boss.

  Cake rating :
Salted Caramel & Choc cake 8/10
Berry Sue Pavlova 9/10 & Definitely reorder next time!
Big Boss 6/10 - Sorry it is just too typical for us :( But for the decoration we give 10/10 :)

My Instagram shot hehehe #cakeoftheday

Ok now lets talk about the interior! It is located at the ground floor of the building, near the entrance. And dikelilingi with glass wall. So you can immediately spot the cafe from any way. The counter pretty small, where dekat situ cashier, buat air, display cakes in one place. Meanwhile, the background is shiny black wall which reflects the cahaya around the room. Wise idea. This place don't really need any extra lighting because it gets all the pencahayaan from directly from outside. The decoration is pretty simple, the wow factor is only the corak from the counter and the colour of the chairs.
Interior shot. Nice and minimal. Nothing too fancy or overdo. By the way, dorang tak serve makanan berat macam spaghetti ke chicken chop ke so if korang lapar gila or nak buka puasa, I think better korang makan dekat tempat lain, because korang boleh ke kenyang makan kek je?
Tempat ni sesuai if korang nak santai santai sambil borak kosong, sign tender berjuta dekat sini, cuci mata tengok abang abang. Ehhhh gitchu

Ni namanya so called candid shot. Cantik tak kasut Jelly Bunny kita? Hekhek. Ouh ya lepas makan makan, shooting OOTD, kitorang terus gerak Menara U gi swimming. Yes unplanned!

Double A Cafe, Ara Damansara

I want to keep this post short as I just want to shower you guys with the pictures only. This cafe is seriously too beautiful, I literally gasped for air when I stepped in because I love everything in it. This cafe not as crowded as Wood & Steel or Tryst. White wall with textures, light wooden tile and plus the horizontal mirror make everything in a good puzzle. I fancy the minimalist type interior because this make it look expensive and calm. I love the same type of chairs they use. Because I never a fan of combining various type of chair in one table. It's just not really into me.

There are two place of dining, inside and outside. The outside section is my favourite! *Drool* Ok first of all, look at the tile guys look at the tile. Another signature feature in this cafe, yes that tile. I have seen numerous times in Instagram people putting down their coffee cup on the floor and shoot from above. Yes I am talking about flat lay. And if you look at the cashier counter, they have the look a like corak.

Meanwhile talking about the food, I didn't really gone through all the menu, because I was there just for a quick drinks with my sister. But I notice there is pasta in the menu around RM18++ if I am not mistaken. For the cakes, I think it is quite pricey, some of them is RM15 and some of them is RM16. Meh thats sad :( and for drinks, the price is similar to other coffee shop, starting from RM8.

OOTD & Cuzzie Meet Up

Recently I went to Empire Damansara to meet my long lost beautiful cousin. Ok just kidding, it is not actually long lost BUT we had arranged like various plan of cafe hunting and meet ups but unfortunately there is always a barrier or an obstacle that some how failed our plan.

And sometimes we are just lazy HAHAHAHA we both laugh when we sat down and said "Kita cam dah lama gila tak jumpa kan except for raya padahal dah banyak kali plan tapi mesti tak jadi sebab kadang kadang macam malas". Kitorang memang malas pun kadang kadang. Sebab she lives at Bangsar meanwhile me at Subang. Kind of jauh jugak la.

Then she said nak makan Boat Noodle, so I macam okay je. And guess what that was actually my first time la makan Boat Noodle tu. And I tak take any picture pun because it was out dated, the craze is gone and I pulak baru cam nak amik amik gambar mangkuk bertingkat tu. Malu okay HAHA

To my liking, okay je rasa dia, sedap jugak and kalau makan hari hari pun I don't think it will be muak. Soupy and macam pedas sikit. I thought dia rasa macam tomyam. Tapi tetttt I was wrong. I give 9/10 la. Banyak gak tu HAHAHA plus the coconut blended really sedap to me. Cuma air macam pricey sedikit. But the food only RM1.90 per mangkuk, not bad la. I makan dua mangkuk je haritu. I cam feeling feeling diet. K over sangat!

Empire Damansara
This is me. I just figured out on how to wear heels properly the night before, so there I go. Hehe

This is my cousin, Marsya!

Cantik tak tudung I guys? I beli online dekat Instagram, AMBIANZE. Price sangat berpatutan okay, sesuai la untuk student student yang kewangan tak berapa nak helok macam I, RM25 je.

Burger Factory, Oasis Damansara

I was not a fan of any burger joint before this. And this whole life the only burger I ate were from McDonalds and some Ramly's. I never enjoyed eating burgers because it is gonna get messy. The sauces and pickles will be meleleh here and there which I really dislike. And I will need a lot of tissues and napkin.

Then I found a blog that post about some mushrooming burger spot around KL and Klang Valley. And I read about Burger Factory.Where? Oasis Damansara hoookay pal, that is just 5 minutes away from my house! Then, of course I tell my sister about it. Then, of course we gotta check it out hehe

This is the front side of the restaurant. I never been here during the day, I usually go here for dinner.

To be honest I am actually forgot what did I ate (Sorry) But i think this one is Crunchy. They have sunny side up, together with black pepper sauce and deep fried chicken. The buns are soft, thank God. But somehow this is not my favorite even it tastes kinda okay. Maybe because of the black pepper sauce. It tastes like the ready made sauce, in that glass bottle and then they just pour it on the burger. But the deep fried chicken tastes excellent!

This is Cajun Chicken Spaghetti by my brother. The chicken tastes good, but the spaghetti feels like something is missing.

These are some of the menu. The price is a little pricey for me.

The interior is so simple. No overdo decoration. No hipster thingy. Chill vibe and clear atmosphere. It is comfortable and relax. I think all of the furniture inside the restaurant are self made. And that glass bottle chandelier is maybe a DIY project by them. Love it!

Overall, I enjoyed having my dinner here. This place is not crowded by people. The food is also good, and the waiters are nice too.

Like I told you before, you feel relax and you can sit here for how many time you want without having to rush because somebody else is waiting for your seat.

Pardon my pictures. I take all these photo by my iPhone 5S.

Benefit How To Look The Best At Everything (Light)

Hello people! Today is Sunday so I thought it would be nice to update my blog which I abandoned completely for a month. Yep, a month. Sorry miss bloggie. I am really busy. Super busy.

Recently, I purchased this makeup pallette/set during my birthday just to fulfill my make up craving hahaha this set has been in my covet list for a really loooooong time, ever since I was doing my diploma. Like everytime I stepped inside Sephora, the first aisle I'll head to was Benefit. And the thing I always touch and 'play' was this holy vintage looking make up set. I always have the urge to buy or not to buy. But, you know me. The urge is always ended up by buying the thing. Hahaha so I finally make up myself, I pick it without playing it anymore and just buy.

The man at Sephora told me to pick the medium one. But when I was testing for Sephora foundation, the lady said I should buy the light one. She even test the color on my skin and ask if I want my complexion to look brighter or not. She said if I buy the medium one, the foundation actually suits my color too but after I applied the powder, my skin look kinda darker. So she suggested that buy the light one. She was really helpful! Love her (:

Let see what they have inside and what they claim to do :
We wrote the book on complexion perfection! Our custom perfectors give you a luminous complexion by blending away imperfections and minimising the appearance of pores. You’ll be the first to finish flawless.
light kit includes:
  • the POREfessional PRO balm to minimise the appearance of pores
  • hello flawless oxygen wow “I'm pure 4 sure” ivory brightening makeup
  • boi-ing 01 & 02 industrial-strength concealer
  • “hello flawless!” “I love me” ivory custom powder cover-up
Product sizes included in kit:
  • Deluxe the POREfessional mini, 7.5 mL, 0.25 US fl. oz
  • Deluxe hello flawless oxygen wow! mini, 7.0 mL, 0.23 US fl. oz
  • boi-ing, 2 x 1.5g net wt. 2 x 0.05 oz.
  • "hello flawless!", 4.0 g net wt. 0.14 oz.

  • This adorable, mirrored "book" also includes instructional tips and tricks cards for the true inside scoop on applying these products and achieving a perfect finish.

Ok, so where do I start? I will start with the POREfessional first. This balm claims to minimise the pores in one's face. The texture is really light and it has a lovely consistent and makes your skin feeling smooth. It does not sticky or greasy which is great. I love that. It did some magic where it fill the pores on my skin.

Hello flawless oxygen wow acts as a foundation. It claims to make my complexion brighter. It does. The texture is runny. Mhmm I don't fancy that. It is not thick as what I expected at first. The coverage is just so-so. Not really good but not really bad. But, it absorbs and dry really fast on skin. Plus no strange smell at all. But at first, it kind of gives my skin a grey look. But it gets better after a couple of second. Maybe because it slightly fair than my actual tone. I guess?

The third is the boi ing concealer, it is a cream concealer. This is my first time using a cream concealer. And it is really odd actually to apply cream concealer on skin. The concealer is easy to apply and blendable. But it does absolutely nothing to my dark circle for the first and second layer. I put like 3 to 4 layer of concealer under my eyes and then I observe some difference. It fades away my dark circle a bit. Yes, a bit. But after I mix both of the concealer, I get my right shade of skin tone. But guys, still, it doesn't really do their job to cover the dark circle. In the brighter side, it covers my small acne scars and my moles so finally there is something that I love about this concealer.

And the last one is, hello flawless powder. I don't know how to describe this. Because I use it really little. The brush is really small. But it makes my skin shine-less and matte.

*Picture number 1 : Without the products.
*Picture number 2 : With the product, freshly applied. Notice that it brightens my skin. Even out the skin.

*Please excuse the lighting

1) The swatch of POREfessional
2) The swatch of the hello flawless oxygen wow

Okay, do I look shiny? I wore this set and been outdoor for two hours. Did some walking.

Their packaging is lovely and too hard to resist! It includes a tip and tricks that is in step by step which is suitable for beginner. They also numbered each product so people know how to start first. And it includes an attached mirror on the box. Really cool! Worry not, this packaging is light enough to carry around. And I know, people will ask question like, "Is the box gonna open really easily?" The answer is no, because they have magnet system which will keep the box close. So your things won't  go crazy in your bag, ladies.

What I like : The packaging, obviously. The size of them, really convenient and mobile. I can take them out and put it back to their place (except for the powder). Shine free. It stays on place. Light weight.

What I dislike : The price, of course. Even though they have this all crucial thing in one place, I don't think I can afford them or buy them regularly. The foundation is really runny and the concealer doesn't really cover up my puffy under eyes, quiet disappointed with that.

Ladies, have you tried this set? How is it? Is it good?

INNISFREE Jeju Volcanic Pore Scrub Foam

Salam and hello everyone! I've been 'hiding' from my blog for the past 11 days. There are just so many things to think and to do lately. And here I am, sitting in my room and blogging. Today I want to share with you guys about this cool thing from Innisfree, which is Jeju Volcanic Pore Scrub Foam.

I went to Innisfree and tryna find something that can help remove the whiteheads and blackheads and at the same time reduce the size of my ugly and visible pores. A scrub foam with Jeju volcanic scoria to purify pores and exfoliate dead skin cells.
Jeju volcanic scrub foam helps to remove dirt from inside the pores and dead skin cells with volcanic clusters.

1. This scrub foam effectively removes the dirt and dead skin cells in the pore with 1-2 uses a week.
2. Jeju volcanic cluster with strong sebum absorption
This precious nature oriented Jeju volcanic clusters are stronger than technology and red clay in skin clearing from the pores.

I am actually interested with the word 'volcanic' because it sounds powerful and worthy and the most importamt is, it sounds convincing. So I thought why don't I just give it a try.

No special packaging for the scrub foam, but it is protected with a plastic wrapped around it.

The texture is thick. Which I loveee so much!

Wash away pore-clogging impurities with Jeju Volcanic Scoria!
Volcanic Scoria is a pure and fairly rare ingredient formed as lava cools after a volcanic eruption.
It has the powerful capacity to absorb sebum and wash away impurities whilst purifying and moisturizing skin leaving it cleaner and healthier looking, without drying it out.

Before : Kind of shiny and greasy skin, visible and open pores, clogged pores, uneven skin texture
After : Not shiny anymore, still visible pores but the size is much smaller, unclogged pores, even out my skin texture

So I tried it. The before picture is just really yuck. If you look closer, you can see there are some black thingy on my pores. And I have no idea where are they actually came from.
Guys, I can say that I love the outcome even I still see my pores. The opened pores are kind of close a bit. BUT, the pores are clean after I used it. My skin feels smoother. It leaves my skin feeling fresh and smooth. No dramatic minimizing pores but can tell the difference. The oil and shiny face is gone. Yeay for that!

I can say that this is a gentle scrub which is suitable for any skin type. It is not rough. It didn't leave your skin feeling 'tight' and dry like some other scrubs in stores. But it didn't really do the exfoliates working :( The word 'volcanic' might scares some of you, but worry not. It didn't have any strange smell. It smells just comfortable. This scrub is really relaxing and light on skin. I didn't mind using it everyday.

I usually wear this after using a lot of makeups, so when I got back home, I want to clean my face, I will use my makeup remover first and then I will scrub my face out. Let me tell you guys, even you have used your remover, believe me, there will always be some makeup leftover on your skin especially those product that promotes pore erasing kind of thing. So with this help, you will get your fresh and beautiful skin afterward! So, go grab it guys.

The price is just okay and reasonable. RM 38 for 150ml is actually good enough for what it can do to your face.

INNISFREE @ Sunway Pyramid, Malaysia

Welcome to the new comer of Korean based cosmetics/skin care brand to Malaysia. Innisfree’s first store in Malaysia is located at Sunway Pyramid. It has opened its door on 5th Dec last year and limited edition eco friendly goodie bag have been designed specifically for those 500 first customers. Unfortunately, I am not one of the first 500 customers. Sobs :(

Innisfree is a Korean brand and they are launched in 2000 in Korea. Wow ok that was a loooooong 15 years ago. During 2008, they started to open outlet in mall. And in 2010, during their 10th anniversary, they launched Eco-Handkerchief campaign. In 2012, they opened their first international shop in China.

So it is already March now and they are doing all well. What is innisfree anyway? Innisfree, the pure island where clean nature and healthy beauty coexist in harmony. Innisfree is a natural brand that shares the benefits of nature from the pristine island of Jeju allowing for vibrant beauty and pursues an eco-friendly green life to preserve the balance of nature. What I can conclude is, they are all about supporting recycle campaign, produce eco friendly product and uses natural ingredients. Greeny.

Honestly I am really happy to have another Asian and eco brand opened in Malaysia. I want to try more Asian skin care brand because I believe it is more suitable for Asian skin than those Europe brand. I am going to be Innisfree regular customer after this hehehe and you know Lee Min Ho is their ambassador so I have another strong reason for it *wink*

The interior. How I love love love the concept. Simple and still portrays their origin.

They also sell cosmetics and beauty tools.

This is product is perfect for anti aging. The Jeju orchid is packed with antioxidants providing your skin with neutralizing agents that reverse the damage caused by sun, pollution and other free radicals. It is a powerful anti-aging cream that visibly reduces the signs of wrinkles, firms and retexturizes the surface of the skin giving it a brighter, more nourished glow.

Okay these are the things that I am currently covetting right now. Hoping to buy all of them by next month. I am quite broke this month :(

Their price is quite affordable, especially their cosmetics. I am looking forward to buy more from their store and start collecting their makeups and buy moooooore masks. And I want to try their recipe capsule really bad too. If you are interested with Asian skincare thingy, I suggested you to drop by at this shop. And their workers are nice and fast too. And of course not the type that follows you around the shop. Good!
